Is CuraPlant free?
Yes. CuraPlant offers 3 free plant scans per day — no account required. For unlimited scans, offline database access, and AI chat, upgrade to Pro from $0.99/month in Africa.
Does CuraPlant work offline?
Yes. CuraPlant works fully offline on Android. The AI model runs directly on your device — no internet needed for plant identification, disease diagnosis, or accessing treatment guides.
What languages does CuraPlant support?
CuraPlant is available in 10 languages: English, Hindi, Arabic, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Kinyarwanda, and Swahili. The entire app — including disease names, treatments, and growing tips — is translated into each language.
How accurate is CuraPlant's plant identification?
CuraPlant uses advanced AI for plant identification and disease diagnosis. It works best for common crops in Africa, South Asia, and Latin America.
How is CuraPlant different from PictureThis?
PictureThis is designed for home gardeners and focuses on ornamental plant identification (17,000+ species). CuraPlant is purpose-built for farmers — it focuses on crop disease detection, treatment plans, and agricultural intelligence. CuraPlant works offline and supports languages like Swahili and Kinyarwanda.
How is CuraPlant different from Plantix?
Plantix is owned by HELM AG, a German pesticide company, and its recommendations may favor HELM products. CuraPlant is independent — our treatment recommendations are unbiased, including organic options. CuraPlant also includes enterprise tools, EUDR compliance, and works fully offline.
Does CuraPlant work for farmers?
Yes. CuraPlant is specifically designed for farmers — smallholder farmers in Africa and Asia, commercial growers, and agricultural cooperatives. It provides crop-specific treatment plans, offline diagnosis, and enterprise tools.

Does CuraPlant have an enterprise version?
Yes. CuraPlant Enterprise is a complete Farm Operating System for agricultural cooperatives. It includes disease surveillance, GPS farm mapping, digital harvest collection, EUDR compliance tools, and AI analytics — replacing paper-based record keeping.
What is EUDR compliance and why does it matter?
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requires coffee, cocoa, and other commodity exporters to prove their products are deforestation-free. CuraPlant Enterprise provides GPS farm mapping and compliance documentation to help cooperatives meet these requirements.
Is CuraPlant available on iPhone?
CuraPlant is currently Android-first. iOS is in development. You can use the free web scanner at curaplant.ai from any device, including iPhone.
How does the 'Sponsor a Farmer' program work?
Every Pro and Professional subscription directly funds free crop monitoring for 5 smallholder farmers in developing countries. BWIZA TECH partners with agricultural cooperatives in Rwanda to distribute these sponsored accounts.
Can I use CuraPlant for commercial purposes?
The Professional plan ($59.99/year) includes a commercial use license, allowing farm managers, agronomists, and agribusinesses to use CuraPlant for commercial crop monitoring and reporting.
Who built CuraPlant?
CuraPlant is built by BWIZA TECH, an agricultural technology company based in Kigali, Rwanda. Our mission is to protect the crops that feed the world using artificial intelligence.

Does CuraPlant sell my data?
No. Your photos and scan data are processed on-device (offline mode) or encrypted in transit (web scanner). We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data or farm photos.
Can CuraPlant identify mushrooms safely?
CuraPlant can identify mushroom species, but AI should NEVER be the sole basis for determining edibility. Many toxic mushrooms closely resemble edible species. Always consult a local mycologist before consuming wild mushrooms.
What crops does CuraPlant cover?
CuraPlant covers 50+ crops including tomato, rice, maize, wheat, potato, cassava, banana, coffee, cocoa, cotton, soybean, beans, cowpea, groundnut, sweet potato, mango, citrus, coconut, sugarcane, onion, cabbage, and pepper.
